Other verses that stuck out to me today while reading through the Psalms:
It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night
Psalm 92:1-2 (NIV)
Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Psalm 95:1 (NIV)
Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.
Psalm 96:1-2 (NIV)
Oh sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things!
Psalm 98:1a (ESV)
This is a fairly recurring theme throughout the Psalms, but I found it particularly fitting that so many of these popped up during today's reading, as Jon and I were on worship band for all three services at church today! I was literally singing from practice at 7:30am until 6:30pm (with some good food and fun time with friends in between services of course). So... I can wholeheartedly get behind all of these verses, haha. It's been a good day of worship :)
Anyways, I am super pooped now (why am I up so late anyway?), so it's time to get some Z's before another work week begins!
PS. Ironically, only a couple days after I did that tree-shaped lettering, I came across a tree-related verse in Psalm 96. Good to know...
